On Sabbath 22 February 2020, Sharl Farquharson, William Warner and Winston Whitehead were ordained to the office of Deacon, after years of service in the deaconry department. After Pastor Thomas Gill reminded from the scriptures in Acts 6:3 that Deacons must be men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, ministering to the needs of widows and attending to the practical affairs of the church, they were duly ordained. The service was concluded with the Head Deacon presenting each ordained Deacon with their official Deaconry badge. Our prayer is that the Holy Spirt will continue to lead them as they work in the services of the Lord.
